BELVIDERE-The Bucs of Belvidere would come into this week's contest looking to improve their record to 2-2, while the Guilford Vikings sought to be 3-1. Belvidere would have to seek elsewhere for the next win.

Belvidere would be the first team to put points up on the scoreboard. At the 2:52 mark in the 2nd quarter, Buc running back, Marcus Gooden, would run the ball in from 2-yards for the first TD in the game. From then on, it would be all Guilford. Dontrel Chance and Cody Bell would run the ball (1-yard and 8-yards, respectively) in the 3rd quarter.

Unfortunately for the Bucs, the offense was not clicking. That is to take nothing away from teh Guilford Vikings defense. The Viking defense held Belvidere to only 160 yards total offense and forced Buc quarterback, Troy Vandenbroek, to thorw 4 interceptions.
