Rockford - Belvidere would seal the deal on the East victory as weather played an important factor in the Buc victory over East 35-0 after only 2 quarters. The officials would call the game due to the lightning minutes into the second half.

The scoring bonanza would begin right from the start of the game. The first play after the Buc kick-off East would fumble the ball and Nic Krause would recover. The Bucs would run 7 plays and Buc quarterback, Kyle Tevebaugh would run the ball 5-yards for the Bucs first score at the 10:10 mark of the first quarter. Tevebaugh's extra point attempt would be good and just like that the score would be 7-0. The Bucs would squib kick the ball to East and it would hit an East defender. The Bucs would recover on their own 48-yard line. Like in the previous drive, the Bucs would march down the field in 4 plays and score on a 22-yard pass from Tevebaugh to receiver, Charles Chatman. East would finally get their chance to do something, but would go 3 and out and punt to the 41-yard line. this time it would take the Bucs 9 plays to score off a 2-yard run from fullback, Patrick O'Brien. It would be Bucs, 21, East , 0, still first quarter. Eight drives later and in the 2nd quarter, the Bucs would again score. Halfback Tiras Harris would run impressively down the field 46-yards to score. Harris would again "almost" score with 51-seconds left in the half with a 3-yard run up the middle. He would fumble in the end zone but offensive lineman, Justin Eddington would be there to fall on the ball and score. The half would come and the score would be 35-0.

The second half would start but would quickly come to a halt as lightning would be the story. After a 30-minute delay, officials would call the game and a Belvidere win. Just in time too as the torrential rain would fall 5 minutes after the close of the game.

The Bucs next game is against their rival, the Boylan Titans, at 7:15pm at Boylan. It should be a great game. Good luck Bucs!
