Bucs  vs.  East

After blowing a 20 – 7 lead at halftime against Freeport I was wondering which sophomore team would show up against East.  These sophomore buc teams has a chance to be really good as varsity players and are beginning to learn what it takes to be successful in the NIC- 10. 
Our Defense turned in a terrific game as it posted a shut-out against the E-Rabs.  Players where in position to make plays, and we really played great team defense. 
The first score came from a bad snap on an East punt and Bryson Johnson showed a lot of hustle by covering it in the end zone for a touchdown.  After that East really started to play hard.  Time after time our defense stopped them.  With about 6 minutes left it was the offenses job to return the favor and put the game out of reach.  We had a traditional Belvidere Buc drive of 80 yards, leaving less than 2 minutes on the clock.  We finished the drive with Evan Dubose scoring around the end from 5 yards out. 
Great win.  Good job guys!!
