Belvidere Bucs vs. the Freeport Pretzels (Varsity)
09/24/10
FREEPORT, IL-It was a game of turnovers. Unfortunately for the Belvidere Bucs, it was one turnover too many. The Bucs would trail behind the Pretzels throughout the game until the third quarter when Buc quarterback, Troy Vandenbroek, would run the ball in from 1-yard to tie the game at 28 apiece.
Freeport would score early in the fourth quarter bringing the score to 34-28, Freeport. Belvidere would have several opprortunites to score but would not be able to capitalize on them.
This week the Bucs return home to Funderburg Stadium for Homecoming against the Rockford East E-Rabs. Come out and support the Bucs!!! Go Bucs!!! |
