Belvidere, IL-.500. That is where both the Belvidere Bucs and Freeport Pretzels wanted to be at by the end of Friday Night. The Bucs would also have additional pressure to win on their Homecoming. The Bucs would come to play and play to win. They would make a statement winning the game, 55-0. The win also helps Belvidere's bid at a playoff run stay alive with a record of 3-3.

The Bucs would score early, scoring on the 3rd play of the game from a 57 yard pass from Troy Vandenbroek to an open Kyle Harris. The Bucs would continue the momentum on their next possession with a 87 yard punt return from Maurice Jackson. Incidentally, Jackson's return broke the school record for longest punt return. This would put the Bucs up 14-0 in the first two minutes of the game.Three minutes later, Vandenbroek would again pass the ball 41 yards for another touchdown. This time to an open Kane Steger. Vandenbroek (3 yard run) would run in another score as did Marcus Gooden. (6 yard run). At halftime the Bucs would be up 35-0.

Marcus Gooden would once more. This time it would be a fumble recovery in the endzone. The Bucs in the thrid quarter started to play bench players and get more kids the opportunity to play or play different positions. They would put in Walter Johnson and Luke Hearn at running back. Both would score; Johnson from the 7 yard line and Hearn from the 46.

Overall the Bucs would have 283 total offense in the game. The defense would also play a big role in the win making big stops. Linebackers, Jacob Fondrk and Jake Hayes would lead the Bucs in tackles (Fondryk-10 tackles and Hayes-9 tackles). Buc kicker, Jonas Pedersen would also tie a school record for number of extra point kicks made in a game with 7.
