Belvidere Bucs vs. Jefferson J-Hawks (Varsity)
10/12/07

The Belvidere Bucs would travel to Auburn to add another mark to their win column. And win they did in rather large fashion, dominating the field and beating the Knights on their Senior Night, 50-0. The Bucs would use this game as a stepping stone to the playoffs playing just about everyone.

Buc fullback, Patrick O'Brien, would score 4 times in the game, including an impressive 50-yard run. Tiras Harris also would score an equally impressive TD in the first quarter, running 49 yards in for a score. Also scoring were Devon Jowers and Alex Moore.

The score at the end of the half would be 42-0. A running clock would be institued and the time would dwindle down quickly. The Bucs would only score one more time in the second half. And that would be more than enough to seal the fate of the J-Hawks handing them their 7th loss of the season.

The Bucs next game will be against Auburn at Auburn. Good luck Bucs.

Belvidere Freshman won 24 - 0. With the running game improving every week, this was a more impressive game for these gentlemen. I believe we only had one fumble this game. A great improvement from games past. The defense has really stepped up and is making their presence being felt on the field.

We were beginning to think the fans would need to get out their Bic lighters and sing a course of Kumbaya as the fall daylight was dissipating quickly.

Congratulations to these gentlemen as the fans were complementing the big change in their playing abilities and intensity on the field from week 1.
