Rockford, IL-The Belvidere Bucs come into Rockford Boylan with a 2-game win streak. A win at Titan Stadium would signify a an end to the the Boylan win streak of 54 NIC-10 wins in a row, a end to Boylan beating Belvidere 5 times in a row since 2005 and more importantly a playoff bid. Unfortunately for Belvidere, it was just not going to happen this Friday with the Titans beating the Bucs 42-7.

Boylan would set the tone in the game scoring on almost all of their drives (6-9) in the game. Tyreis Thomas would score 2 rushing touchdowns (1 yard run in the 1st quarter and a 13 yard run in the 2nd quarter). Lamont Toney would also score 2 rushing TDs (10 yarrd run in the 1st quarter, 4 yard run in the 2nd quarter) and also throw to Adonis Brown for another TD (13 yard pass). Peter Cimino would get Boylan's final TD in the second half off of a 2 yard run. The Bucs would play better in the second half and get on the scoreboard in teh 3rd quarter when Troy Vandenbroek would pass 13 yards to Kane Steger for the lone Buc TD.

The Titans would limit the Bucs to 10 first downs. On the Buc's drives they would punt 4 times, have 2 turnover on downs and have 2 turnovers (1 fumble and 1 interception).

Buc quarterback, Troy Vandenbroek's 148 yards of total offense would put him over the 1000 yard mark for the 2nd year in a row with 1065 going into the final game next week.

Next week, the Belvidere Bucs return to the comforts of Funderburg Stadium and look to get to 5-4 and hopefully a playoff bid against the crosstown rivals, the Belvidere North Blue Thunder. North look to be the spolier for Belvidere's playoff run. Should be fun to see the two teams do battle for bragging rights. Come on out and support the Bucs.
