2010-2011 Season Outlook

Varsity

by BHS Football Head Coach Matt Weckler

The 2010 football season is here again and of the program is getting better as a whole with the lower lever teams coming off very successful season as well as a playoff apearance last year at the varsity level with a lot of young players getting action.   We will suit up 38 varsity players this season with as many as 14 returning starters. With this experience, this years BUC team will be multi dimensional with the ball being distributed to many players capable of coming up with big plays.

Again this season, we will be the smallest school in the conference and will be looking for those 5 wins that will get us into the 5A playoffs. This is a goal that can be achieved as long as we can stay healthy and get some things to fall our way. The coaching staff is very optimistic with this group of young players and will be building off last years accomplishments.

GO BUCS!!!

Sophomore

by BHS Football Head Sophomore Coach Jim Ryan

Another exciting season of BUC football is here.    On the sophomore levels are goals remain the same.
1.  Improve on their record as freshmen.
2.  Compete for a Conference Title.
3.  Learn how to become a Varsity football player .
Numbers are improving but we are lucky enough to have another talented freshman class to assist.  Our sophomores had a great season last year.  We hope to continue to build upon that success.  We have some great leaders and captains that not only help us as coaches but also make sure the other players know what it takes to be a BUC football player.

I expect us to compete in each game and play hard. I am always excited to see their growth through the year as they take the steps to be a quality varsity football player.  I hope to hear you all in the stands throughout the year supporting our team.

GO BUCS!!!

Another year of football is upon us and a new crop of Freshman are about to learn what it means to be a Buc Football player. The Freshman this year have come to us with high sprits and have practiced hard over the summer to compete this season.

These young menare a talented group who have some speed, power and a good fundamental base.We should be able to compete with all of the other teams in the conference.

We hope you come out and support the Freshman football program. After all, they will be the BUC future.

GO BUCS!!!
