The Boys Cross Country team opened its season on Tuesday 9/2 with wins over Sycamore, Dekalb, and Burlington Central at both the Freshmen/Sophomore and Varsity level.

Races were held at Kishwaukee College on a mostly flat course. The weather was in the 90's and very humid. Our plan was to run in a pack as long as we could. With the weather being so hot and this being our first race of the season we had to be careful not to go out to fast and struggle coming in at the end.

"Our team ran a smart race. It helped having team mates to run with for most of the race."

Belvidere North's next race is Saturday September 6th at the Crystal Lake South Invitational.
