A recap of our season;
 
We are a young, inexperienced team with some talent.  The beginning of our schedule was tough due to a stretch of 7 games in 6 days.  This was an issue because of the low numbers we have.  Our season has had its ups and downs, but it is all worthwhile as we have a quality group of young men who want to do well and are willing to work hard.  It is important to lay a proper foundation for the many seasons to follow and my players have done just that.  Everything that I have asked them to do from playing a position they are not familiar with to wearing ties on game day, they have represented Belvidere North High School at the highest level.

The score line in many of our games does not represent the improvement from the beginning of the season through the victory of East on 09/25/2007.  The players have never given up in any contest no matter what the score.  Fortunately for us, we are only losing 3 seniors.  It will take a few years to build truly competitive team, but the pieces are in place to do so.
