There are not to many days that we have the opportunity to spend one whole day outdoors watching our students athletes at 5 different levels play the greatest game ever invented, football.  We all were fortunate enough to have this opportunity Saturday with the Castle Challenge put on by the BHS and BNHS Booster Clubs.  Both sides of town showed great support for their athletes and the town as a whole.

The night concluded Saturday with the varsity game starting at 7:45p.m.  With both sides packed with spectators the game provided a great conclusion for the day.  It was not the way we wanted it to end, but all in all a great performance.  Our kids played with great pride and energy.  We made plays when we needed to and had all 11 players on both sides of the ball doing as they were coached.  Unfortunately, the ball ended up not bouncing our way in the final part of the game and Gave North the opportunity to take the lead and end the night victorious.

Thank you for all the support and remember we have two home games left at Funderburg Stadium.  come out and support your BUCS.
