I first would like to thank all of you fans that came out to support Belvidere Football Friday night.  If you were a Blue Thunder supporter or Buc supporter it does not matter, the atmosphere was great to play in for all kids involved.

All year long we have said, that we would be a more successful football team if we do not turn the ball over, and Friday showed just that with our offense scoring 48 point and no turnovers.  The offensive line was able to control the line of scrimmage and the back and recievers made plays when they had to.

On defense we did what we had to do.  We made some good adjustments at halftime that made us more successful.  How about Austin Smaha from North though.  Hats off to him.  What a great running back.  He is a very good runner with great vision and speed.  We did all we could to just contain him, that is, contain him enough to get a win.

We have one game remaining at home vs. the Jefferson Jayhawks before we say goodbye to the senior football class of 2010.  Come out and help send them out with a victory.
