2008 Buc All-Sports Awards Night
Belvidere, IL - Belvidere High School held their 2008 All-Sports Awards Night on Tuesday, May 13th. The night would start off with dinner in the cafeteria. Approximately 220 people dined on mostacolli and spaghetti from Bravos and cake from Pacemaker and the Buc Booster Club. The Buc Booster Club would also serve the dinner. On the tables were beautiful floral centerpiece from Deininger's Floral Shop (http://www.deiningerfloralshop.com) in Freeport.
After dinner, everyone moved to the Performing Arts Center for the program. This is the first time in several years that the awards night changed their format to include awards for all three seasons. In previous years, the awards were given out at the end of every season. Jack McCarthy, BHS English teacher and ex BHS Head Basketball Coach) would emcee the event.
On a personal note, I would like to thank the B-Club, Belvidere High School staff and Belvidere High School students for presenting me with the B-Club Award. I am highly honored.
