This week's BooneCountySports.com's Athlete of the Week is the Varsity Cheer Team at Belvidere North High School.

The North Varsity Cheer Team placed 2nd at the Buc Winter Cheer Classic and finished 3rd at the Buffalo Grove Cheer Invitational.

This week's BooneCountySports.com's Athlete of the Week is Samantha Drimalla

Sami, a Senior at Belvidere High School,
bowled a 576 series against East and a 539 series against Boylan.  She placed third at the Sycamore Matt Clark Invitational with games of 222, 251, 221 and 225.
