This week's BooneCountySports.com's Athlete of the Week is Lauren Hyser.

Lauren a Junior at Belvidere High School is a member of the Girls' Varsity Track and Field team competing in the Pole Vault. She is also a multi-sport athlete also competing in Girls' Cross Country and in the Girls' Basketball program at Belvidere. Recently, Lauren won her second pole vault championship in a row at the NIC-10 meet and also set a new school record. 

Lauren is a credit to herself, the Belvidere High School sports program and Boone County sports. Congratulations on being selected this week's BooneCountySports.com's Athlete of the Week!
