This week's BooneCountySports.com's Athlete of the Week is Alex Albrecht.

Alex is a Junior at North Boone High School and on the Varsity Football Team. Recently the 6'1", 190-pound quarterback, was 13-30 passing for 231 yards with 1 touchdown, had 19 carries for 133 yards, an 84-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and an 85 yard interception (he also plays defensive end) returned for another touchdown.

Alex is a credit to himself, the North Boone High School sports program and Boone County sports. Congratulations on being selected this week's BooneCountySports.com's Athlete of the Week!
