This week's BooneCountySports.com's Athlete of the Week is Alex Albrecht.

Alex, a 6'1", 190 pound Senior at North Boone High School is the quarterback and also plays linebacker for the Vikings. In the last Friday's game against Clinton, Alex was 11-17 for 217 and threw for 4 touchdowns. He also rushed 9 times for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns. Defensively, Alex posted 8 tackles, 1 fumble recovery and had 1 interception.

Alex is a credit to himself, the North Boone High School sports program and Boone County sports. Congratulations on being selected this week's BooneCountySports.com's Athlete of the Week!
