This week's BooneCountySports.com's Athlete of the Week is Julia Chai.

In Coach Alan Shumaker's nomination, he says, "Senior Julia Chai one of the bright spots on our tennis team.  She is undefeated at 2 singles in the NIC-10.  This week her Victories include Jefferson, Woodstock and in a real big game she defeated Boylan in a tough 3 set match.  Her record over all is 13 wins and 1 lose.  She is a leader on and off the court.  She gives her best all the time.  Hard work and dedication to this team is what she brings every day."

The Julia is a credit to herself, the Belvidere North High School sports program and Boone County sports. Congratulations on being selected this week's BooneCountySports.com's Athlete of the Week!
