This week's BooneCountySports.com's Athlete of the Week is Kelsey Nelson.

Kelsey is the captain of the Girls' Golf Team at Belvidere North High School. Last week, Kelsey won the NIC-10 Girls' Golf Tournament and advanced to Regional tournament at Timber Pointe in Belvidere. This is the second NIC-10 Championship she has won, (also won last year.

Kelsey is a credit to herself, the Belvidere North High School sports program and Boone County sports. Congratulations on being selected this week's BooneCountySports.com's Athlete of the Week!
