This week's North Boone High School Athlete of the Week is Josh Lesperance, a senior at North Boone. He is an intergal part of the North Boone Varsity Football team.

Josh is a bruising 5'8", 165 pound running back and equally bruising defensive back. He is consistent contributor on both sides of the ball. It is not uncommon to hear on the sidelines either coach Weber or Coach Sullivan yell, "Les, we need you to....". In the Marengo game where North Boone would notch their first win, Lesperance would score twice. One on a 20 yard run and the other from a 80-yard kick-off return.

Josh is both a credit to himself and the North Boone High School sports program. Congratulations on being selected this week's North Boone High School Athlete of the Week!
