Cross Country
This week's Belvidere High School Athlete of the Week is Liz Kaluzinski. Liz is a member of the Cross Country team.
Liz is a sophmore who is also on the basketball team and plays on the varsity soccer team in the spring. She has been the number 2 runner on the team for most of the year and last weekend improved her sectional time by a minute over a year ago. She went from 54 at sectionals last year to 11 this year. Next weekend, she will be running in the state meet with the rest of the team. She enjoys running and especially enjoys soccer. She scored 12 goals on the varsity team last year as a freshman.
Liz is a credit to herself and the Belvidere High School sports program. Congratulations on being selected this week's Belvidere High School Athlete of the Week!
