The North Boone/ Marengo game started on Friday night with the parade of the Marengo Homecoming floats. The final float read "Smoke the Vikings". Again with their next possession, Indians receiver Cody Lewis Hoch rushed 8 yards for yet another Indians touchdown for a 27 to 12 lead over the Vikings. The determined Viking offense was not about to take this lying down as wide receiver number 23 Kelly Carmody completed a 25 yard pass reception scoring a Viking touchdown ending third quarter with a score of 27 to 19, Indians.

Early in the fourth quarter the Vikings turn up the heat a little more.
