The Richmond-Burton Rockets hosted the North Boone Vikings Friday night, October 19th at 7:30pm. This was another tough game for the Vikings as they endured a 47 to 19 loss to the Rockets.

First quarter opened up with a North Boone Vikings kick-off and the Richmond-Burton Rockets receiving. Richmond's first drive took them deep into Viking territory. With a 1st and goal at the Viking 1 yard line, quarterback David Jewell ran the ball for the first Rockets touchdown of the game. Following the touchdown, the Rockets recovered the onside Kick and after a strong drive, running back Caleb Sheedio made a 2 yard play for another Rocket touchdown. The Vikes answered back as Wide Receiver Ryan Majewski completed a 24 yard pass reception for the first Viking touchdown of the game. Finishing the quarter off, running back Harrison Wancket made a 3 yard play for another Rocket touchdown ending first quarter with a score of 21 to 6, Rockets.

The Rockets continued their hot streak as linebacker Jodi Bodi ran a 30 yard punt return early in second quarter for another Rocket touchdown. Late in the quarter, the Rockets score again as tight end Harrison Daniels ran the ball for a touchdown ending the first half with a 34 to 6, Rockets lead.

Second half began with a Rocket kick-off and the Vikings receiving. Early in the quarter the Vikings drove the ball deep into Rocket territory. With a 2nd and goal at the Rocket 1 yard line, quarterback Alexander Beck ran the ball for another Viking touchdown putting 7 more on the board. The Rockets didn't waste anytime answering back. On their following possession Wancket scored another Rocket touchdown ending the third quarter with a score of 41 to 13, Rockets.

Early in the fourth quarter, Majewski completed a 26 yard pass reception scoring the third Viking touchdown of the game as they worked to even the score. The Rockets answered back on their next possession as tight end Mike Corey ran the ball 12 yards putting 6 more on the board. The game ended with a final score of 47 to 19, Rockets.

Viking players Angelo Johnson with 7 carries for a total of 47 rushing yards and Alexander Beck with 12 carries for a total of 30 rushing yard led the game. Leading players for pass receptions included Ryan Majewski with 6 receptions for a total of 114 yards and Joshua Clicko LaMere with 8 receptions for a total of 108 yards. Good effort guys!
