Franklin, WI - The Roscoe Rush would look forward to their 1st playoff appearance in their new league, the Ironman Football League. They would play the Franklin Outlaws and hope to avenge their previous loss earlier this summer. Unfortunately, the Outlaws had something to say about that. The game was a nail biter to the end with 2 touchdowns within the last two-minutes of the game.

In the first quarter, Franklin would strike its first blow with a 13-yard touchdown run by Outlaw running back Jojo Moore at the 2:20 mark. The Rush would reciprocate in the second quarter with an impressive 11 play drive culminating with a 6-yard touchdown run by Rush running back, Jonathon Wiggins. The defense would hold the Outlaws from scoring on their next couple of drives. The half would end with both teams tied at 7-7.

Just like the beginning of the game, the Outlaws would again score first in the third quarter at the 18:33 mark. Outlaw wide receiver, Damion Nichols would catch a 68-yard bomb to make the score 14-7. The fourth quarter would begin with Roscoe scoring first on 5 plays ending with a 1-yard touchdown run. With the kick good the score would be tied at 14. At the *;40 mark, Jojo Moore would manage to break free of a tackle on a run to the right side and broke free for a 72 yard touchdown run. This would put the Outlaws up by 7, 21-14. Again, Roscoe would respond with a score at the 1:20 mark on 8 plays ending with a quarterback sneak at the 1-yard line by Jason Hufford.

This is when it turned into the Tony White (Outlaw wide receiver) sow. White would catch 2 passes and go about 85 yards and score the final touchdown of the game with 0:46 left to play. The extra point attempt would be no good. The score would be 27-21. Roscoe would get the ball back but would not be able to get the ball in the end zone.

The Roscoe Rush would finish their inaugural season in the Ironman Football League with a 6-4 record and an appearance in the playoffs. Congratulations a very good season Roscoe Rush!
