BCS.COM QUICK NOTES

LOOKING FOR PICTURES
A WORD ON ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
BCS.com is looking for people to submit pictures of winter sporting events. If you are at an event, whether it be at elementary, middle or high school in the Belvidere or North Boone School Districts, and happen to snap some photos, please e-mail them to us. Just send the photos to ron@boonecountysports.com or paul@boonecountysports.com. Please list the event, the outcome of the event (score) and give us us your name. we will then look at the content and if appropraite will post it to the website and credit you with the photos. It is impossible for Paul and I to get everywhere but want to give everyone a chance to get more recognition to the kids in the area.

There has been some questions on how that Athlete of the week is picked. I thought I would take a moment to explain the process. The Athletes of the Week are picked by the ADs or their designated representatives.

Every week an e-mail is sent out to the 3 high school's Athletic Directors asking them for their nominations for Athlete of the Week from the previous week. Once those are received, or in some cases if no response is garnered a no nominee status is given, BCS.com then picks from the pool. Hope that clears up any confusion.
